Pelican™ 1085 hardback case can come with Pick N Pluck™ foam which can be customized to your application or you can get it with a shock absorbing liner which works perfect for netbooks that fit the case.
The Pelican™ 1085 Hardback Case provides the ultimate in safety for transporting or storing your 14.0" (35.6 cm) laptop. The hard shell case is waterproof, crush and dust proof with an interior O-ring gasket to keep it dry and free from airborne contaminants and moisture.
It is accessed by its easy opening throw latch that will remain shut even if the case is dropped as well as an auto purge valve that will keep water and dust out while balancing the case when subjected to air pressure. The removable shoulder strap offers two ways to carry the case - either by hand or with the strap itself. Pelican™ stands by the 1085 with its Lifetime Guarantee of Excellence.
Produces from a design partnership with BMW DesignWorks, the Pelican™ 1085 HardBack case series are built with all the legendary features of a Pelican™ case crush-resistant, watertight to 3 feet and an automatic pressure equalization valve that prevents vacuum lock to make it easier to open at any altitude. In addition, all cases in the series offer anti-scratch foam inserts to add another layer of protection for delicate electronics. To ensure that they stay shut in tough conditions, they also sport stainless steel hardware and easy-snap latches.
